A simple request of a Delhi-based musician for home-baked breakfast in Bengaluru turned into a complete exchange with an elderly couple, a moment now won the heart and attracted attention to the Internet. A material manufacturer and percuishist, Saddev Singh, was visiting the capital of Karnataka, when he was contacting an elderly woman outside his house with a humble request, asking him to taste “local domestic food” for food in his house. “Namskar aunty, I wanted to ask, I am from Delhi and I wanted to eat local food from here, so, is there any way that I can have breakfast in your place?” The woman said, “One second, I will call uncle” and went inside. For his pleasant surprise, the person welcomed him smiling and invited him to join the dining table for a traditional home-baked breakfast. This was followed by a hearty conversation because he shared food and a bond which went beyond language and age.Sadives introduced herself and her fellow producer Diwashree to the couple. The elderly man brought out a traditional musical instrument and even took time to teach Singh how to play it. The material manufacturer, visually moved, later commented, “People are very sweet in Bengaluru.”“I am glad that we meet a musician today.”The elderly person further told Sadives, “Whatever you do in Excel” Before leaving, Singh expressed his gratitude, posed for photographs with the couple, and sought his blessings.
