Columbia student Mohsin Mahdavi says he was trapped by ice agents, but it was not surprising; ‘Who will be next?’

Columbia Students of Palestinian origin Mohsin MahdaviWho was arrested by ice agents when he went to interview his citizenship, he said he knew that he was trapped for arrest and it was not surprising at all. Mahdvi said that he was arrested after signing a citizenship document, stating that he was ready to take oath of allegiance.

“Despite spending 16 nights in the gel cell, I did not lose hope in the imperative of justice and the principles of democracy. I wanted to become a citizen of this country because I believe in principles that say this,” he wrote.
