Jammu: Police have seized a packets with alleged narcotics allegedly dropped by a drone from across the border in the Katua district of Jammu and Kashmir.Local people on Tuesday alerted the police about a packet, which suspected that it was dropped by a drone, which was being found in a village fields in Hiranagar city. A joint team, including the Special Operations Group (SOG) and BSF personnel, recovered the packet, found in 400 grams of intoxicants, police said.The region was closed and discovered for any other items, which is likely to be aircraft. He said that an FIR has been registered in the case.This is the second time in four days when the drugs dropped by a drone have been seized from a border area in Jammu. On 26 July, the police seized 500 grams of heroin, which was aiidrop by a Pakistani drone in Chilli Border village in Samba district.
