After the Pope Francis passed at the age of 88 on Monday, Seri A of Italy has postponed four fixtures that were to be played on the same day.
The affected matches include Torino vs. Udinez, Cagliyari vs. Firentina, Lajio vs. Genoa, and Parma vs Juventus. New dates for these games are yet to be announced.

It can prove to be difficult to resolve these fixtures, with the Champions League semi -final commitments with crowded calendars and possible clashes.

The Postplacement with Italy’s Football Federation (FIGC) is beyond Siri A, which confirmed that all matches in professional and amateur levels – including young leagues – will also be delayed for Monday.
