Post-matching dressing room celebrations of Mumbai Indians: Mahela’s hearty praise for Rohit goes viral

New Delhi: The Mumbai Indians (MI) camp was echoing with energy and spirit after a nine -wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings, but it was a post -match moment after a special match which stole the show on social media.
In a video shared by MI’s official handle, head coach Mahela Jayawardene addressed the team with heartfelt praise and honesty. Referring to the words of Kieron Pollard, Mahela said:
“In the Hadle, Poli said for something special – and you guys distributed.”
But then, Mahela deepened, drawing from his journey as a player:
“I have also gone through it, such as playing cricket … You go through a little trot and then you have to excavate deeply. Some monster in your head too.”
After this he turned to Rohit Sharma, who played an unbeaten 76 who won only one match, and added with praise:
“But cry … fantastic. Mavric. Played well.”
The team threatened applause, in which Rohit soaked a cool pair of sunglasses and in love. This was not only a subtle but powerful celebration of a knock, but also a return – a calm fighter in the style.
