Pratik Babbar recalls the time when he did not want to be associated with his parents: ‘I developed a hatred for my mother Smita Patil, Father Raj Babarbar.’

Pratic Babbar, son of late actor Smita Patil, has been clear about his previous struggles with drug addiction. In an interview recently, he revealed that there was a time in his life when he expressed his displeasure with both his mother and father, actor Raj Babbar. Smita died tragically during the child’s birth, and Pratic was picked up by her maternal grandmother. While reflecting his past, he shared how, at one point, he expressed his displeasure with both his mother and his father, Raj Babbar. Growing up without his mother, who died during the birth of the child, and with a limited partnership with his father, left Pretic and separated from others. The way people treated him with mercy only intensifies these feelings.He further revealed that, he never spent time with his mother, he struggled with conflicting feelings towards him and his parents. He questioned himself whether he loves him or wanted to join him. At a certain level, he realized that the rebel feelings he had as a child turned into resentment. He explained that when someone comes from a place of trauma and recognizes things, it was not right, it is easy to develop feelings of hatred towards their parents.Limited relationship with your fatherWhile discussing his relationship with his father and did he ever talk to him about these feelings with him, Pratic explained that although he had worked to rebuild his relationship, he was never able to have an open conversation with his father.
