IAF exercises ‘Akraman’ with Rafaels, conducts naval drills

New Delhi: The Indian armed forces are maintaining a high position of operational readiness amidst increased tensions with Pakistan, even Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi will visit Jammu and Kashmir on Friday and rival rival navies drilled firing in their own water in the Arabian sea.
General Dwivedi will review the operating status with 778 km control and counter-term operations in Hindorland, during his visit to Udhampur, as well as his visit to Srinagar, and Anantnag, a senior official told TOI.
After announcing the suspension of Pakistan’s 1972 Shimla Agreement, the validity of Loc was in sharp attention on Thursday, which had converted the then ceasefire line into LoC, both sides did not agree to change it unilaterally.
The ceasefire first came into force in November 2003 with an understanding among the rival directors of military operations, but was later blown to smilence by the acute firing couple between the two armies. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts, understanding between DGSMO was renewed in 2021 February – especially with 5,133 ceasefire violations after a bloody year – and has been held largely so far.
Since the situation with the boundaries of the land with Pakistan is stressful, the pirate domain is also watching some shade boxing. For the first time, Pakistan issued a ‘Navariya’ warning for ships to stay away from the coordinates specified in its EEZ in the Arabian Sea due to its live fire exercise by its warships and submarines on 24-25 April.
Then, the Navy said on Thursday that its latest directed-Misile destructive INS Surat had successfully conducted a test-firing of its medium-range surface-to-wake missile, which has a 70 km interasption range against a maritime-scale target on the Western seboard.
The Indian Air Force is also honoring its fighter skills with the annual ‘aggressor’ (attack) exercise, with various fighter jets led by Omni-Rol Rafales as well as other aircraft in Central India. The number of ORPS (operating readiness platforms) on the IAF air base has also increased.
