This SAM system is capable of combating diverse air threats and increases force protection for #Rocarmy”, MND has written on X.This development is such that Taiwan on Monday made his first live-firing of the US-supply high-supply Artillery Rocket System (Himars) at Pingtung County on Monday, as reported by Taiwan.According to Focus Taiwan, the drill was performed by the 58th Artillery Command of the Taiwan Army, which was held at Jiupeng Base of Manjho Township. It is further mentioned that Himars can be equipped with a pod that has a range of six 227 mm rocket or a single army strategic missile system (ATACMS) 300 km.Overall, 33 rockets were fired, with 11 launch vehicles firing three rounds.
