The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Sunday named a surprising practice, “Don” to assess the readiness of its general headquarters and main command centers for massive attacks.Directed by Chief of Staff Major General Ile Zameer, the drill was designed to evaluate the ability of the army to respond rapidly and effectively. Ofr Serigm and his team supervised the drill, inspected and assessed the army’s response time in terms of both quality and capacity. “The IDF will continue and start a series of audit activities in all commands, branches and units to improve its capacity and readiness,” the army said in a statement.IDF operations continued on many fronts. On Saturday night, the army stated that it targeted a Hizbullah terrorist in the Aayanata region of southern Lebanon. The individual was allegedly collecting intelligence on the Israeli armies, in violation of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.Earlier in the week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a three -hour security meeting with senior officials on Tuesday, during which the IDF chief presented options to carry forward the campaign in Gaza.Netanyahu’s official X account posted, “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today discussed a three-hour security discussion, which was presented by the IDF Chief-Off-Staff to move forward with the campaign in Gaza. The IDF is ready to make any decision made by the security cabinet.”
