Arya told Timesopindia.com in a virtual conversation organized by Punjab Kings, “People knew me in Delhi only after a six at once, but after receiving the IPL contract, the whole country knows me.”

He said, “I am recognized, people know me, wherever I am known, I get recognition. After that life changed. People started congratulating me for that feat. Six sixes changed my life, honestly,” he said.
Arya started his IPL journey on a high, scored 47 off just 23 balls against Gujarat Titans. But he quickly hit a thick patch.
The swashballing opener succeeded in scoring only 8 runs against the Lucknow Super Giants before he was dismissed for a golden duck by a fiery Joff Archer delivery against Rajasthan Royals – a blow that left the young batsman blindly and was shaken by his confidence.
