Punjab CM Mann dedicated India news to eight libraries in Barnala

Barnala: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann dedicated to eight public libraries on Saturday, which was built at a cost of Rs 2.80 crore, to the people here. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said that eight libraries are dedicated to the people in the assembly constituencies of Bhador and Mehal Kalan. Mann said that Rs 2.80 crore has been spent on these eight libraries constructed in Shahna, Dhaula, Talwandi, Majuke, Kutba, Deewana, Wajidke Kalan and Thulival villages, each has been built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh by adding each library. Equipped with modern infrastructure, these libraries have features like computers, internet uses, quality literature and books to help prepare for competitive exams, he said. The Chief Minister said that these libraries have expressed a new hope to realize their dreams among the students. He said that students from remote villages can now use knowledge from all over the world through books while living in their villages. Mann said that he strongly believes that these libraries will play an important role in increasing the intellectual level of students and helping them achieve their fundamental goals. He imagined that these rural libraries would serve as a herbinger of development and prosperity in the state and said that the initiative to break the path is aimed at developing reading habits among the youth of the state. The Chief Minister said that this step will go a long way to empower the youth and make them a similar partner in the socio-economic development of the state. Mann hoped that these libraries would go a long way to change the destiny of the youth and produce bureaucrats, scientists, doctors, technocrats and others from them. These libraries have been equipped with high-end features such as Wi-Fi, solar power digital analogs and others. The Chief Minister said that these libraries have world class books on contemporary literature and course books, which provide a rich learning experience. Mann said that this library is a true storehouse of knowledge and literature, adding it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction for all of us that these libraries give homes to precious books on various subjects, which attracts book lovers. He said that the collection of libraries includes some rare and precious books, which would be a major property for book lovers. The Chief Minister further said that these libraries will prove to be a game changer to change the destiny of the students.
