From September 1, these will increase to four flights a week. It comes months after the airline resumed in Damascus in 2025, marking its first return to the Syrian sky since suspension of flights in 2012. This step indicates a gradual re -entry into the Syrian market, becoming another city with Aleppo which is now connected to Doha. Qatar Airways states that it is part of a broad push to improve regional connectivity through its center at Hamad International Airport.

Flights will start from August 10. Qatar Airways will run three flights a week to Aleppo from mid -August. These flights will operate: Monday, Wednesday and Sunday From September 1, a Thursday flight will be added, which will make it four times weekly.Flight time:
