Radhakrishnan Chakat, one of India’s most respected fashion photographers and a known face in Malayalam cinema, breathed his last on 23 May, Friday.As reported by Manorama Online, he was 53 years old and died due to a heart attack.
A master behind the camera
Radhakrishnan began his independent photography journey in 2000 and quickly grew to prominence with his unique mixture of artistic vision and technical mastery. He shot a campaign for some major brands of the country and was a very demanding fashion photographer .. He also performed several workshops and lectures, mentioning aspiring photographers across India.
A teacher for thousands of people
In 2017, he founded a popular YouTube platform Pixel Viilage, which became a destination for photography education. Through this initiative, Chakyt shared tutorials, product reviews and intensive discussions about cameras, lighting and photographic techniques. Apart from his contribution to photography, Radhakrishnan made his mark in cinema with his debut in the 2015 film Charlie, starring Duller Salman. He portrayed David’s character, earning praise for his natural screen appearance.
