Railway cap weight-list tickets at 25% of train capacity. Bharat News

New Delhi/Mumbai: In a significant policy change, Indian Railways has started issuing a waiting tickets for a maximum of 25% of the total berths/seats in each category -AC1, 2, and 3, sleeper, and chair cars -like a train for separate quota for separate quota for separate quota. A Railway Ministry official said, “Booking and cancellation of various railway sector trains will decide the waiting list of tickets as per the pattern.” A senior Western Railway official said that the current practice of a large number of waiting-list tickets made a mismatch between the confirmed booking and the number of boarding trains of passengers.
