Ranji Trophy: Jitesh Sharma joined Baroda after exiting Vidarbha; Rasikh salute also makes tricks. Cricket news

Mumbai: Vidarbha and Royal Challengers Bangalore wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma and Jammu -Kacher Pesar Rasikh Salam Dar will represent Baroda at the upcoming domestic season. Both players have clearly switched with the help of their RCB team partner and Baroda captain, Krunal Pandya.The 31-year-old Jeetesh captained Vidarbha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy last season, which reached the quarter-finals, but was not in any match during the 2024–25 Ranji Trophy. He has played nine T20I (100 runs @ 14.28) for India, and was a star artist for IPL 2025 Champions RCB (261 runs in 15 matches @ 37.28, with a fifty and 176.35 strike rate, including 85 not outs in a league stage match, which includes a crusky stage match against 10.
Rasikh has played five first -class matches and has taken an average of 13 wickets on an average of 25.23. In the list A cricket, a 25 -year -old fast bowler has claimed 13 wickets out of 10 games at an average of 37.46 and an economy rate of 5.80. He has also depicted in 36 T20 matches, on average, an average of 45 wickets of 23.13 and an economy of 8.52 on average. Rasikh made a debut in his list for J&K in October 2018 in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy, and played his first Ranji Trophy match later that year on 30 December. His T20 debut came in the 2019 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 22 February.Salaam, who has played for India A, has also been a part of four IPL teams – RCB, Delhi Capital, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.Apparently, Jitesh was not happy with some things in Vidarbha.A white-ball expert, Jitesh-did not play in the Ranji Trophy in the backward season of his first class in 2015. He played the last of his 18 first -class matches in January 2024. He scored 661 runs in 18 first -class matches, scored 1,533 runs in 56 List A Games and 2,886 in 141 T20s with a strike rate of 152.29.Apart from RCB, Jitesh has played in IPL for Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians. He was part of the MI team led by Rohit Sharma, who won the trophy in 2017.
