Chandigarh: The Rate Bahra University (RBU) has received the ‘Best Placement University Award’ for 2025. Established by a private news channel, the award was presented by the Higher Education Minister by the Punjab Minister at a function held in Chandigarh.The minister appreciated that the Rayat Bahra University had introduced several job-oriented courses, which helped it to excel in the field of placement. The award was received by Gurinder Singh Bahra, who is the Vice President of the Rayat deaf Group of the Institutes.Speaking on the occasion, deaf said that RBU experienced an increase in placement, with more than 1,400 companies going to the campus so far and offering jobs in more than 50 domains.He said that top recruitments include Nestle, Amul, Paytm, SBI General, Axis Bank, EIR, Amazon, Wipro, Mahindra, Tech-Mahindra, Ranbaxy, Royal-Enfield, Havells and other famous companies, which perform a wide range of industries in search of RBU Grands.Bahra said that the university’s emphasis on industry-relevant skills and training programs contributes to the increase in placement and its graduates’ attraction for companies.
