Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Tuesday that he is ready for new elections and if the Center restored the state, he would not feel like losing its chair. After leaving for a golf event in Gulmarg, he told reporters, “I have no attachment to my chair.”Reacting to media reports, suggesting that the Center may consider restoring Jammu and Kashmir in the coming months, but on the situation of holding new elections, CM said: “I know where such stories are coming from. It was imposed to create fear between MLAs, so that they say ‘continue us for five years.Omar said that the national conference would not become a hindrance to the restoration of the state, even if it means dissolving the current assembly. “If the message is that the assembly will be dissolved to restore to the state, then it is,” he said. “The day you restore the state for Jammu and Kashmir, the next day we will ask the Governor to dissolve the assembly.”Omar said, “The state has constitutional and political rights.” “It cannot be used as a bargain chip. Do not threaten us through stories installed.”His father and NC President Farooq Abdullah, who was in Anantnag on Tuesday, said that J&K was downed into a center area (UT) due to the character of his Muslim majority. He said, “We should see every tourist not a one -time visitor, but as a potentially repeated guest. Their satisfaction should be our benchmark,” he said.
