The rights groups and the NGOs are pulling the UK government in court on Tuesday, accusing Israel of violating international law by supplying fighter jet parts amidst the war in Gaza.Supported by Amnesty, Human Rights Watch, Oxfam and others, Palestinian Rights Association Al-Hauq Lockheed Martin F-35 is demanding government’s exports of government exports for fighter jets.Israel has used American warfare aircraft for the destructive effects of Gaza and West Bank, and the head of Amnesty UK stated that Britain has failed to maintain “legal obligation … to prevent genocide” by allowing Israel to export major parts.According to Oxfam, the fuel-filling investigation, laser targeting system, tires, rear fuses, fan propulsion systems and ejector seats are all created in Britain, and lawyers supporting Al-Haq’s case said that the aircraft would not “fly without a continuous supply of UK-made components”. It is not clear that a decision can be taken after a four -day hearing in the London High Court, which is the latest stage in a long -running legal battle.Lawyers of the Global Action Legal Network (Glan) have said that they started the case soon after the Israeli attack on Gaza until the Hamas -led attacks of October 7, 2023. Israel has repeatedly denied allegations of massacre. The lawyers said that the UK government had decided to continue arms sales in December 2023 and April and May 2024, the license for weapons was then suspended in September 2024, which was evaluated for military use by the Israeli Army in Gaza. The new Labor Government suspended around 30 licenses after reviewing the compliance with Israel with the International Human law, but the partial ban did not cover the British -made parts for the advanced F -35 stealth fighter jets.A UK government spokesperson told AFP that it was “currently not possible to suspend the license of F -35 components for use by Israel without prejuding the entire global F -35 program due to its strategic role in NATO and wide implication for international peace and security”.He said, “Within a few months of coming to the office, we suspended the relevant license for IDF, which could be used to facilitate serious violation of international human law in Gaza,” he said.

‘UK not an audience’:

The government stressed that it had “worked in a way in line with our legal obligations” and “was committed to maintain our responsibilities under domestic and international law”.But Glenn described the F -35 discount as a “flaws”, which allowed components to reach Israel indirectly through a global pooling system.Charlotte Andrews-Bisco, a lawyer from Glenn, told a briefing last week that the UK government had “clearly departed from its domestic law to provoke Israel”, F-35 was used to release multi -on bombs “on the people of Gaza.”According to AFP Tally based on official data as a result of Hamas’s 2023 attack on southern Israel, 1,218 people died, mostly citizens. The Health Ministry at Hamas-Run Gaza said on Monday that at least 2,749 people have been killed since Israel ended the two-month ceasefire in mid-March, causing the total death toll to 52,862 since the war.“Under the genocide conference, the UK has a clear legal obligation to do everything within its power to prevent the massacre,” said the Chief Executive Officer of Amnesty International UK Sacha Deshmukh. “Still the UK government continues to authorize the export of military equipment to Israel – despite all the evidence that Israel is being massacred against Palestinian people in Gaza. It is a fundamental failure by Britain to fulfill its obligations.”Al-Haq General Director Shavan Jabrin said: “The United Kingdom is not a sensible. It is complex, and that complexity should be faced, should be exposed and brought to attention.”
