RSS leader booked India News on alleged inflammatory speech in Darsina Kannada

Mangaluru: An FIR was lodged against the RSS leader on Monday for allegedly giving a provocative speech which could instigate communal tension, the police said.The accused, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, gave a speech during a condolence meeting held on May 12 in the memory of a Hindutva activist and a known miscreant-mashed Shuhas Shetty, who was murdered on May 1, who was killed in Mangaluru on 1 May.According to a police statement, the program was held at Madwa Palace Convention Hall of Kavalapadur village under the jurisdiction of Bantwal Rural Police Station.Police said BHAT addressed a gathering of about 500 people in the incident and made allegedly provocative statements that could harass public harmony and good enmity among communities.Police said that a case was registered against them under the relevant sections of the Indian Justice (BNS) and further legal action is being taken.
