Russia blacklists Yale University in the latest crack

Moscow: Russia called Yale University an “undesirable organization”, officials said on Tuesday, as Kremlin has chased a crack on critics that have intensified during Moscow’s campaign in Ukraine.The declaration of “undesirable” effectively restricters institutions from operations in Russia and whoever does the responsible work for prosecution with them.According to the Prosecutor General, the purpose of Yale’s activities was “violating the regional integrity of the Russian Federation, an international blockade on the state and reducing its economic foundation.”The prosecutors excluded Yale’s School of Global Affairs, alleging that there were accused of preparing opposition workers to organize protests in the country.The top contender of President Vladimir Putin, late opposition activist Alexi Navalani, who died in jail in February 2024, was among the schoolmates. American universities are involved in international organizations and non -profit organizations such as Amnesty International, British Council, Greenpeace, Elton Johns AIDS Foundation, which Moscow has been called undesirable.Russia has also placed independent media outlets such as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Meduza.
