S Sreesanth breaks silence on three -year -old KCA ban, Sanju calls Samson as ‘God’s own son’

New Delhi: Former Indian fast bowler Sreesanth has finally spoken after the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) handed over a three -year suspension.
The ban came after a television panel discussion against KCA allegedly false and defamation comments. Controversy center around Sanju Samson’s lapse from the Indian team for the upcoming Champions Trophy.

In a video message shared on his Instagram account, Sreesanth said, “You might know that the Keral Cricket Association has banned me for three years, at least what they are saying. I don’t know what I have done wrong. I only had good intentions for my country and God’s own son, supported Sanju.”
Currently in the Kerala Cricket League, Sreesanth, the co-owner of the Kollam Eris team, spoke emotionally on a Malayalam TV channel in support of Sanju Samson last February.
However, his comments motivated KCA to take action. A special general body meeting held in Kochi on 30 April decided on suspension.
While Sreesanth was issued a show-causal notice, the teams were Kollam Aris, Alappuzha Team Lead and Alappuzha Repulses.

The franchise provided satisfactory clarification and avoided punishment, although KCA warned that future appointments for team management should be made more careful.
KCA clarified that suspension was not to support Samson but to make misleading public statements about the association.
Additionally, KCA announced a plan to carry forward the compensation of Sanju Samson’s father, Samson Vishwanath and two others, which he described as baseless allegations.
