Om Shanti. ,In addition, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikrajun Kharge, while paying his tribute to the “farmer-friendly leader”, said, “The news of the death of former governor and farmer-friendly leader, Shri Satyapal Malik ji is very sad. He is fearless and clearly a mirror for the truth in front of those in power.”“I am very sad to hear about the passage of former Governor Satyapal Malik ji. I will always remember him as a person who fearlessly spoke of the truth till his last moment and constantly advocated the interests of the people.Once a senior BJP leader, Malik, attracted attention to his vocal nature and later emerged as the party’s sharp critic. He shook the controversy by publicly accusing security failures in the 2019 Pulwama attack and exposing corruption issues in the Kiru Hydropower Project. ,Malik died at the age of 79 during the surrounding treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi.
