New Delhi: Haryana YouTuber And travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra For Pakistan, he was arrested on Saturday in a case related to espionage. There are ten major points in relation to the case:
- Jyoti, which runs a Youtube channel with 3,77,000 customers, is accused of communicating with a Pakistani employee in the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. On 13 May, India expelled the Pakistani officer on charges of espionage.
- Police said they maintained contact with the Pakistani handler and allegedly broadcast sensitive information through messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Snapchat.
- According to the FIR, he also contacted Ehsan-ur-Rahim, known as Danish in the High Commission of Pakistan in 2023.
- The FIR said that she met Danish several times in the High Commission of Pakistan in Delhi and was allegedly in touch with Pakistani intelligence operators.
- He traveled to Pakistan twice, meeting Danish’s acquaintance Ali Ahwan, who arranged for his stay. Ahwan also provided his meetings with Pakistani security and intelligence officials including Shakir and Rana Shahbaz. To avoid increasing doubt, Jyoti saved Shahbaz’s mobile number named ‘Jatt Randhwa’.
- A photo posted by Jyoti Malhotra on 22 March 2025 showed her with two other Indian Utubars, claiming with a caption that he was in the Pakistan High Commission.
- According to police, Jyoti admitted to sharing sensitive information with Pakistani intelligence operators and dissolving her contacts with misleading names. Officials said that his constant communication with these operatives violates the official Raj Act and is a serious threat to national security.
- They have been charged under the implemented provisions of the official Secrets Act and the provisions applicable by the Civil Lines Police in Hisar.
- Suspecting a connection with Pakistani intelligence operators with a 25 -year -old postgraduate student, he was arrested a day later, taken into custody in Kaithal.
- Meanwhile, 24 -year -old Naaman Elahi of Pinipat district was also arrested for providing sensitive information for contacts in Pakistan.
