Jammu: Security forces on Wednesday started a search operation in a remote area of Kishtwar district of J&K after specific inputs about the presence of suspected militants.HeyThe FFICIALS said that the Joint Campaign launched by the Army, the Special Operations Group of the J&K police and the Special Operations Group of the local police in the Sinhopora forest area of Cheater Morning were released when reports were revealed. “Security forces obtained information about the presence of some terrorists and immediately shut down the area to plug all migration routes,” an official said. However, there was no mark of suspects till late evening.On 22 May, an army personnel were killed in the exchange of fire with terrorists at the upper reach of Shingpora region.Earlier, during a two-day long gun on 11–12 April, security forces neutralized three terrorists in the Nidagam region of the Chatero-Kishtar.
