After a hearty defeat at Lord’s, where India lost by 22 runs in a stressful final season, Captain Shubman Gill and his team arrived in Manchester with firmly established eyes in the fourth Test at Old Trafford. With the five-match five-match series 2–1, the upcoming clash starting on July 23, has become a win to survive in the competition for India and to push the series into a decisive at the Oval. As per the current schedule, India will start its preparation with an alternative training session on July 20 at 1:30 pm. The session is only open to visual media coverage, in which no player or assistant employee is scheduled to talk to the press.
