‘Seriously worried’: Pakistan attacked us Iran; After nominating Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

Pakistan on Sunday strongly condemned the recent American air strikes on Iran’s major nuclear facilities. It came to Pakistan US President Donald Trump a day after publicly supported US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, cited his “decisive diplomatic intervention and decisive leadership” during the recent crisis between India and Pakistan. In a press release issued, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern over the growing tension in the Middle East, which followed by the attack on the US atomic sites in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan.The attacks confirmed in a national address by President Trump marked the direct military entry into Washington’s Israel-Iran struggle.“Pakistan condemns US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities that follow the series of attacks by Israel,” the statement said. “We are severely concerned about the stress proceeding in the region.”

The Ministry of External Affairs said that the strike violated the principles of international law and United Nations Charter. “Iran has a valid right to defend itself under the United Nations Charter,” the statement stressed, stating that continuous aggression “posted a severely harmful implication for the region and beyond.”Watch: Iran Fire Missile Post grows smoke on Tel Aviv Building as US strike; Many injuredIslamabad also asked for the safety of civil life and property, which urged the immediate ending of enmity. “For dialogue and diplomacy, the United Nations remains the only viable pathway to resolve crises in this region,” it said.Pakistan shared a 900 km border with Iran and historically advocated for regional stability through diplomatic engagement. The condemnation is amid international inquiry and follows the recent visit of Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir to America, where he allegedly held a lunch meeting at the White House. During the visit, Munir recommended President Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize in the recognition of his role in increasing the deadlock of India-Pakistan.
