ODI Series – Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago Uncapted batter Hasan Nawaz has already made headlines in T20I setup this year. After starting his career with two ducks against New Zealand in March, he shocked the cricket world by breaking the fastest T20I century by Pakistani in his third game. He followed that high with a continuous score against Bangladesh, but tolerated another lean patch in a recent distant series. Salman Mirza and Abbas Afridi have been demolished after the Bangladesh series, while Mohammad Nawaz and Hussain Talat maintain their spots in diarrhea.

Do you think PCB took the right decision by focusing on T20I?
The tour will mark the first assignment of Mike Hessen, in -charge of Pakistan’s ODI team. The PCB is focusing a lot on T20I cricket led by the next year’s T20 World Cup, even removed the ODI leg of its domestic series against Bangladesh in May. The 50 -over series remains intact despite reports of Pakistan’s preferring more T20I on Odis against the West Indies. The team is scheduled to reach the USA after the end of its series in Bangladesh on 27 July.
