Trump told Fox News, “He really knew what a child meant. What it meant.” “If you are an FBI director, and you don’t know what it means, it means ‘murder’, and it says loud and clear.”The Secret Service has interviewed Comi about the post, while FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the bureau was “in communication with Secret Service and Director Curan” about the case.Bongino did not return to his assessment of Komi’s legacy. “As the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have been accused, standing with director Patel, managing the most powerful law enforcement agency in the world,” he wrote. “The director and I are also responsible for seeing the serious mistakes made by the people within the FBI in the past, and ensure that they never occur again.”While Bongino insisted that the FBI does not directly investigate the threats against the President, he said the agency “has the ability and right to support other federal agencies for violation of federal law. And we definitely have the responsibility to comment on matters associated with former FBI officials and comment on allegations of law.”He and Patel also indicated in more revelations, especially about the previous FBI operations such as crossfire storms and capital riot checks. He said, “I can’t post all the things that the director and I am doing to improve the enterprise, but I assure you that they are happening,” he said. “Sadly, many of those agenda items are the results of former director Komi’s poor decision making and tyrannical leadership.,Bongino explained that he now chose to speak as his interview with Maria Bartiromo, aired on Sunday, was recorded before the emergence of Comi’s post. He ended his statement with a patriotic message: “Bless Lord America, and all those who defend him.”
