Shraddha Kapoor allegedly in conversation with Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar for the new project.

After her recent visit to the Madock Office in Mumbai on 26 May, Shraddha Kapoor is allegedly in advanced discussion with producer Dinesh Vijan for a possible renovation after the success of ‘Stri 2’. Industry sources indicate that the actress met with Vijan, and her meeting also included director Laxmanambar, who was known for Chhawa.According to sources close to Pinkvilla, Shraddha Kapoor has expressed strong interest in a script discussed during the meeting and “mainly agree” to come on the ship. If the project becomes physical, it will mark Laxman Utekar’s next direction enterprise after Chhaha, in which Shraddha Kapoor is potentially playing the lead role. The film is allegedly based on a Marathi novel, and Shraddha is set to portray a Maharashtrian character on screen. Beyond this, the details are being kept in wrapped, although the A-list is likely to join the artists in the men’s lead.While the talks are currently in newborn stages, the possibility of moving forward is considered high, which has a positive relationship with Shraddha Kapoor with the production house. Dinesh Vijan, currently, experiences a highly successful run with two films at the 500 million club, focused on creating varied and trend-breaking materials. The subject given by Vijan and Uttarakar to Shraddha is said to be deeply vested in the Maharashtrian culture, aligning with their vision for a unique story.Apart from this possible project with Shraddha Kapoor, Laxman Uttekar and Dinesh Vijan are also developing a three-hero project, the aim they want to take to the floor with three top-level actors of Indian cinema in 2026 or 2027.
