New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke about the successful launch of the Axiom-4 mission for the International Space Station, saying that Indian spacecraft group captain Shubanshu Shukla worked with him with “desires, hopes and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians”.In a post on X, PM Modi said, “We welcome the successful launch of the space mission carrying astronauts from India, Hungary, Poland and America.”Highlighting the importance of the moment, PM Modi mentioned that group captain Shukla is ready to become the first Indian to travel to ISS. He said, “He fulfills the wishes, hopes and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians. He and other astronauts get all success,” he said.The AXIOM-4 mission on Wednesday removed NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 12:01 PM IST. The crew will ride in the ISS that conducts more than 60 scientific experiments for 14 days, returning to space with India, Hungary and Poland after decades.
