‘Shut up, Big Nose’: Indian couple harassed by youth in Canada, Peterbaro takes sports group action

An Indian couple was harassed by a group of youth in the parking of Landsoun Place Mall, whose video was revealed on social media, causing a major debate on growing racial attacks that Indians are facing abroad. The Indian person shared his exam on Facebook as he wrote that he and his partner were still shocked. The three youths were in a large white pickup truck in front of their vehicle. One of the youth came out and hummed the couple’s side mirror. He called the Indian man ‘black’, and said, “Shut up, big nose”. One of the harassers said that humping the vehicle is not illegal and then asked if they had touched the victim. As a video of the incident taken to the victim was posted, many people identified the oppressors and a police investigation began. The Peterbaro police said that an 18-year-old man from the city of Kava Lakes has been accused as a result of the investigation and after consulting the Crown Attorney’s office: a complete danger-death or physical damage. The accused was released on an undertaking and will appear in court on 16 September.(The video has dishonest language)Police said that there is no specific allegation for hatred crime in Canada that applies to the incident.
