Salman Khan starrer ‘Alexander‘Which was released in theaters on Sunday, March 30, has been decent at the box office. However, Salman is still considered less than his record and previous films. The film was opened at the domestic box office for Rs 26 crore, meanwhile, it saw development on Monday which was Eid. The Eid holiday on day 2, the film earned Rs 29 crore at the box office, which is still less than the initial number of Khan’s films, such as ‘Tiger 3’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
Now on day 3, which is Tuesday, according to Saikilk, there was a decline of about 32 percent, and the film earned Rs 19.5 crore. However, it seems that the fall may be higher on 4 days which is Wednesday. Till now, till the morning the show, it had earned only 99 lakh rupees. By the end of the day 4, the film may still be expected to create a double digit number. So far, the total collection of ‘Alexander’ is Rs 75.49 crore.
The film has been converted into many theaters, such as ‘The Diplomat’ and other films like Gujarati films, there are films like ‘All the Best Pandya’ in Surat and some theaters in Ahmedabad. However, in some single screens in Gaeity, Galaxy and Mumbai, the film is doing better and has replaced ‘L2 Empuran’ in many shows. Ideally, for a big Salman film released on Eid, the number of Rs 100 crore should have been crossed within the first three days.
