Sir Row: Tejashvi Yadav claims that the deputy CM of Bihar has two epic numbers; Asks if the EC will send a separate notice. Bharat News

New Delhi: Rashtra Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashvi Yadav on Sunday claimed that Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha has been registered as voters in two separate assembly constituencies, which increases political slugfest at the alleged loose loops in the electoral rolls.Tejashvi said that the name of the BJP leader is registered in two separate districts: 1.) Lakhisarai Assembly in Lakhisarai district, and 2.) Bankipur Assembly in Patna district. He also shared two different epic numbers: IAF3939337 For Lakhisarai, and AFS0853341 For Bankipur. An epic number is an Indian voter’s unique identification number printed on Electors Photo Identity Card.“Lakhisarai assembly constituency in the voter list, his name appears Section number 1, serial number 274In the Bankipur Assembly Constitution List, it appears Section number 4, serial number 757In the Bankipur voter list published in January, his name was recorded Section number 4, serial number 815, Even in his election affidavit, he only mentions the entry entry to Bankpur constituency. This means that he is in a position to vote twice -in two different stages, in two different constituencies, “Tejashvi claimed X.Pointing to the discrepancies at the age mentioned in both cards, the former Deputy CM of Bihar asked: “Is it not a lump sum fraud and an age -related falsehood?”“Their age is also different in both places – 57 years In one, 60 years In another. Is this not a lump sum fraud and age -related falseization? He has presented two separate calculations in two separate constituencies. Both forms tolerated his signature, indicating that he has deliberately registered himself at two different places, “he said. The RJD leader also targeted the Election Commission, asking whether Vijay Sinha had not signed the form, whether the pole body “made a fake signature?”“If he does not personally sign both forms, has the Election Commission made a fake signature to register itself in two constituencies? His name has also appeared in a draft role for both assembly constituencies. Has the Election Commission deliberately provided such duplicate registration facility for BJP supporters? How was his name included in draft lists for two separate constituencies? Lalu’s son asked.“Will he now receive two different notices – or the rules are only for the opposition?” The RJD leader asked the ECI, who sent him a notice in dual epic numbers.Tejashvi and ECI’s ‘epic’ shodownThe Election Commission on Friday claimed that the epic showed the media during the press conference by Tejashwi Yadav, “fake”. The pole body has asked him to present it in the office by 16 August. The Patna Election Officer said in a letter to Yadav, “It seems that the epic displayed during a press conference is fake. Creating and using false government documents is a legal offense. You seem to be requested to present false epics in our office till 5 pm on August 16.”Earlier, Yadav was issuing two epic numbers from ECI. “If there were two epic numbers issues, who is on the mistake? And they ask me clarification,” he said. Tejashvi’s comment was in response to a Patna Election Registration Officer (ERO), who asks Yadav to submit details of the Epic Card during his August 2 press conference, which set the afternoon time limit of 8 August for information for further investigation. “In the press conference on 02.08.2025, the details of the epic card you mentioned were requested to be completely examined, but so far, a copy of the desired documents and epic cards has not been provided from your level. Therefore, it is again requested that the details should be made available to the inferior by the afternoon of 08.08.2025 to be thoroughly investigated, “the letter said. The performance between ECI and Tejashvi Yadav began when he first alleged that his name was absent from the new draft voter list on August 1, and later claimed that his epic number was replaced. However, the Election Commission dismissed these claims, stating that a detailed verification showed its name listed in Serial No. 416 of Polling Station 204 at Library Building of Bihar Animal Science University.
