Omar said on Tuesday during the inauguration of a bridge in Pulwama district of South Kashmir, “Six months have passed since the assembly elections held, and we think the right time has come (to restore the state).”
CM mentioned that he had a separate meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a recent visit to Jammu and Kashmir. “This was a good meeting. I still hope that soon, Jammu and Kashmir will get back their state,” he said.
NC chief spokesperson Tanveer Sadiq echoed Omar and said: “We feel that this is the time when the central government should fulfill its promise State restoration Come with an ordinance to J&K. We are very hopeful. ,
Omar was sworn in as CM of the center region of Jammu and Kashmir on October 16, 2024, which after the cancellation of Article 370 after the victory of the National Conference in the first assembly election and two after the bilateral of the state of J& in two UTS.
