Indian-origin Vaibhav Taneja was nominated as the treasurer of the US Party in paperwork, which was filed to form Alone Musk’s US party. After teasing a new party to break the two-sided system of American politics, Elon Musk Sunday announced the creation of the US party after his results with President Donald Trump and GOP.

Vaibhav Taneja is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Tesla, who played the role in August 2023 after the departure of Zach Kirakorn. An Indian -origin executive, Taneja, has played an important role in Tesla’s accounting and financial operations for many years. He joined Tesla in 2017, through the acquisition of Solarsity, where he was already serving in a senior finance role. Prior to Tesla, Taneja worked at PricewaterhousesCupers (PWC) in both India and the United States for nearly 17 years. Known for its low public profile and stable management style, Taneja has helped to oversee Tesla’s financial strategies during rapid global expansion and has increased investigation on the company’s margin and performance. He receives a commerce degree from Delhi University and is a certified Chartered Accountant, which makes him one of the some Indian original CFOs in a major American tech company.
