Sonu Nigam Kannada song to make a statement as Bangalore Police Chief for Mumbai on the song line

A team of Bangalore police officers are traveling to Mumbai to take a statement from singer Sonu Nigam. Officials said on Saturday that it was reported by IANS on Saturday that an FIR was lodged against him after an FIR was registered against him for his comment to connect the demand of Kannada song.Police team going to MumbaiThe police team consists of an inspector and two other officers of the Alalli police station. The court also stopped the police from filing a final report in the case. Additional State Public Prosecutor BN Jagdish told the court that if Sonu Nigam cooperates with the police, no “no more steps” will be taken. Nigam had asked the Karnataka High Court to cancel the FIR filed against him.What happened due to cedar?An FIR was filed on 3 May 2025 at Avalahalli police station following a complaint by Group Karnataka Rakshan Vedic.
