As seen in a clip on X (East Twitter) shared by Suresh Pro, Rajamouli Confirmed Nani’s casting in his dream project. He said, “Surely, Nani will be a part of my film based on Mahabharata.”
The director of ‘Bahubali’, known for his grand cinematic vision and blockbuster hit, has often talked about his desire to customize Mahabharata in a multi-part film series, which he considers as a decade-long attempt. He confirmed that the grandmother will join the first official casting news for this epic venture.
During the same incident, Nani thanked Rajamouli for the occasion and praised the director of the director in Indian cinema. He also revealed that ‘Hit 3’ includes a special “Rajamouli Pal”, inspired by a filmmaker or dedicated, which he and director was often discussed during production.
Talking about Nani’s upcoming film, ‘Hit: The Third Case’, there is an action thriller directed by Selesh Kolanu and the third installment in the popular ‘Hit’ Universe. Nani played her role as Arjun Sarkar, a difficult and dedicated police tasked to track a cruel serial killer. The film also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Rao Ramesh and Maganti Srinath in the lead roles. The film is releasing on May 1, 2025.
After ‘Hit 3’, Nani is ready to cooperate with director Srikanth Odella, titled his next film ‘The Paradise’.
On the other hand, SS Rajamouli is working with superstar Mahesh Babu on its current mega project, which is temporarily called, ‘SSMB29’. The film consists of a star-stad cast that stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles.
