Stage-i grape measures across NCR were canceled after later decrease in air pollution levels

New Delhi: After the latter reduction in air pollution levels, the Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) canceled Stage-I measures. Classified response action plan On Sunday, the entire National Capital Region (NCR) (CRAP). This comes two days after CAQM implements the stage-i measures of the Gradened Response Action Plan (CRAP) in the entire National Capital Region in response to a sudden spike in air pollution levels. The CAQM Sub-Committee unanimously decided to cancel the stage-i measures by the CAQM sub-committee. According to an official release by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, on Sunday, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) watched 179 in the day according to the daily AQI bulletin provided by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Considering the significant improvement in Delhi’s daily average AQI and considering meteorological forecasts by the Meteorological Department of India, the sub-committee of the Commission for the Commission for the Commission for NCR and the surrounding areas (CAQM) met the sub-committee on the Grade Response Action Plan (GRAP) to review the current air quality land for today and took a proper decision from 16 May.Comprehensively reviewing the overall air quality parameters of Delhi-NCR and other aspects, the sub-committee noticed that AQI of Delhi has shown significant improvements after light rains due to strong surface winds and thunderstorms. AQI of Delhi has been recorded as 179 for May 18 (in ‘Moderate’ category). In addition, the forecast of IMD predicts AQI to be mainly in the ‘medium’ category in the coming days. Therefore, taking into account this trend of improving Delhi’s AQI and forecasting by IMD, the CAQM sub-committee unanimously decided to cancel the stage-i of the expansion schedule of grapes across the NCR, while indicating the average air quality of Delhi to stay in the ‘medium’ category in the coming days, issued with immediate effect. The NCR requires all agencies of the concerned state governments to ensure that all the statutory directions, advice, orders etc. issued by the Commission are implemented in the right earnest, which includes the rules, regulations and guidelines and guidelines and instructions issued by the regulations, regulations and guidelines and related state governments and pollution control boards. In this context, all the agencies concerned also need to pay attention to various tasks and targeted deadlines, as is envisaged in the comprehensive policy issued by the Commission to curb air pollution in the NCR and appropriate action in the area, especially dust mitigation measures, stated in the release. The sub-committee will keep a close watch on the air quality scenario and will periodically review the situation from time to time, based on air quality in Delhi and for more appropriate decisions based on the forecast provided by IMD/ IITMs. On 16 May, in response to a sudden spike in air pollution levels, the Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) implemented the phase-i measures of the Gradedated Response Action Plan (CRAP) in the entire National Capital Region (NCR). The decision was a comprehensive review by the CAQM sub-committee, which was called on May 16 at 4:00 pm. The committee assessed continuous poor air quality conditions in Delhi, triggered by strong winds due to long distance dust transport, which has been considered episodic in nature. On 15 May, AQI deteriorated rapidly due to air activity.
