New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, joined the party’s ongoing ‘Exodus Roco, Job Do’ in Begusai district of Bihar on Monday. NSUI national in-charge Kanhaiya Kumar was with the Congress leader during the ‘White T-shirt’ visit.
Earlier today, Rai-Bareli MP asked the youth to wear white T-shirts to pressurize the Bihar government. This is Rahul Gandhi’s third Bihar tour since January.
He said, “Young Mitra of Bihar, I will come to Begusarai on 7 April, to join the ‘Roko escape, do nauki’, walking shoulder to shoulder with you. The goal world has to show the world’s youth, their struggles and the spirit of their difficulties,” he wrote in a post on X.
He said, “Wearing a white T-shirt, ask questions, raise your voice-pressurize the government for your rights, hold them accountable. Let’s come together and make Bihar a situation of opportunities,” he said.
“Issues you face-uncontrolled, inflation, paper leaks, and one after the other, along with the lack of government jobs, you do not benefit along with privatization-we are the reasons on this campaign. It is called” escape journey. “Come and join us to wear a white T-shirt so that the feelings of the youth of Bihar can be found.
BJP takes up in Rahul
Attacking the Congress leader, Union Minister Nityanand Rai said, “Rahul Gandhi has come to Bihar. Wherever he goes, he creates problems for his alliance and his party for the first time. Here, he has come to create problems for Tejashvi Yadav.
Prior to Gandhi’s visit to Bihar, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that the Congress leader will be awakened by Vikas in Bihar under Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
“He (Rahul Gandhi) should seek atonement. The Congress ruled for 60 years and gave the slogan to remove poverty, but they could not erase poverty. The Narendra Modi government has lifted 25 crore poor people above the poverty line. Modi’s roads and Nitish Kumar’s development in Bihar,” Singh said.
