New Delhi: A female professor was found dead from injuries at her residence in Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh on Friday morning.Police is investigating the 55 -year -old case as a case of unnatural death.The deceased was identified as Pragya Aggarwal, who was a professor at the Government Home Science College. His body was discovered at 10 am with a domestic help which reached his house in Amber Vihar area under the jurisdiction of the anthem police station.According to Additional Superintendent of Police Suryakant Sharma, Agarwal was lying in a pool of blood. “She was unmarried and lived alone,” she was asked for news agency PTI.The official said that a deep cut on his right wrist was made, as well as a minor injury on his neck. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and started a detailed investigation into the matter. Forensic teams have collected evidence from the spot.City Superintendent of Police (Garh) Ashish Jain said that when initial signs suggest suicide, investigators are waiting for a post -mortem report to determine the exact cause of death. “Preliminary findings suggest suicide, but the exact cause of death will be detected after the autopsy report arrives,” he said.The authorities have started questioning the people going to Agarwal to go, killing him. Officials are also reviewing any possible evidence that can help clarify whether injuries were self-inspired or the result of playing dishonesty.
