Suspended traffic suspended after explosion at rail link in Balochistan

Karachi: A railway employee was injured and traffic was suspended on one of the most important links after the bombings in Pakistan’s resting Balochistan province on Monday, an official said.The explosion targeted the track linking Mach and AB-A-Gum area in the north-western province, disrupting traffic, said the official.A spokesperson of the Pakistan Railway said that the explosion seems to be a task of terrorism that aims to damage the National Transport infrastructure. “This railway line is important because it connects southern and central Pakistan,” the official said.He said that the injured were taken to a local hospital, where their condition was reported to be stable.The spokesman said that security forces were combing the area to ensure public safety, and the bomb settlement squad also reached the site to overcome any additional threats.There is an explosion amid growing concerns over important infrastructure, security and increasing vulnerability of transport network in the region.
