New Delhi: US President Donald Trump again said on Friday that he stopped India and Pakistan from fighting and told the two countries that his government could not trade with those nations in the struggle.“We stopped India and Pakistan from fighting during a press conference at the Oval Office with Elon Musk. I believe it can turn into a nuclear disaster,”Trump said he said “he wanted to thank the leaders of India, Pakistan leaders, and I also want to thank our people. We also talked about business and we said that ‘we cannot do business with people who are shooting on each other and potentially using nuclear weapons.”He also said that the leaders of both India and Pakistan are “great leaders” and “they understood, and they agreed, and it all stopped.”Trump said, “We are preventing others from fighting, because after all, we can fight better than anyone. We have the largest army in the world. We have the greatest leaders in the world.”On 22 April, about two weeks after the terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 civilians died, India launched Operation Sindoor to target terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.On May 10, India and Pakistan reached an understanding to end the struggle after four -day drone and missile strikes along the Pakistan border.The directors of the military operations (DGMOS) of the two countries agreed to prevent all firing and military functions on land, air and sea.
