The UK government has asked its people to remove the old emails for not wasting water as the current drought situation has been defined as a “significant event at the national level”. Older emails, data stored in clouds require huge data centers and they consume large amounts of water to keep it cool.This advice was issued as Britain ends its fourth heatwave of summer. Five regions of England are currently officially in drought, six more in ‘long dry weather’.“The current situation is important at the national level, and we are asking to help help to play our role and reduce the pressure on our water atmosphere,” said Helen Waikham, director of the environmental agency.“We are grateful to the public for following the restrictions, where in place, to conserve water under these dry conditions. “Simple, everyday choice – such as closing a tap or removing old emails – actually helps to reduce demand and help to help our rivers and wildlife health.”

Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Mercesticide and Cheshire, East Midlands and West Midlands have been declared drought. Areas classified as “prolonged dry weather” are: Northeast, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, East Anglia, Tems, Wessex, Salent and South Downs.There are still hospy ban for all Yorkshire Water customers with Tems Water, South East Water and Southern Water Customers.
