Srinagar: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chug met the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama in Ladakh on Tuesday, “the importance of the region” not only exposed the “importance of the region as a strategic boundary, but as a sacred area, where Buddhist knowledge, Indian civilization and national pride convergence”.In his conversation, Chugh insisted that India’s commitment to spiritual freedom and cultural protection is not a matter of policy, but a civilized religion. The Dalai Lama arrived in Ladakh over the weekends for a long journey of a month.A BJP statement mentions that the meeting depicts a deep spiritual relationship and mutual reverence for the responsibility of India’s civilization in promoting peace, compassion and religious freedom.The statement quoted the Dalai Lama as saying that “since coming into exile from Tibet in 1959, we have received immense support and assistance from the Government of India”. The Dalai Lama has been told, “It is thanks to India’s generosity that we are able to preserve our unique identity, language and cultural heritage, which are deeply inherent in the principles of non -violence (non -violence) and compassion (compassion).”Chugh not only described the Dalai Lama as a spiritual leader, but also gave a living avatar of the decent values of India. Chugh said, “His message of kindness, universal brotherhood and spiritual power echoes with the soul of India.”The BJP’s National General Secretary highlighted India’s firm commitment to be a sanctuary for the seekers of truth and justice during the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. “India is the land of Buddha, and PM Modi is making every effort to protect and conserve the legacy of Lord Buddha, not only for India, but for the world.”According to Chugh, the meeting with the Dalai Lama was not only a political gesture, but also a repetition of India’s timeless duty to protect the torches of truth, non -violence and religion in a turbulent world.
