Watch: female police punched by two men during a dispute at Manchester Airport; ‘I was completely nervous’

A police officer told a jury that he was “absolutely frightened” after a dispute with two people at Manchester Airport last year. The PC Lidi ward from Greater Manchester was released with a broken nose in the incident at Terminal 2 Car Park Pay station on 23 July, as reported by the BBC. 20 -year -old Mohammad Fahir Amaz, and 26 -year -old his brother Muhammad Amad allegedly attacked.
The jury heard that Amaz was approached by a female policeman and her two associates on a ticket machine, when they received a complaint that a person who fits his details, beheaded a customer in a starbuck in the airport.Amaz clearly opposed, and his brother again intervened. The ward said, “I was trying to catch the arm of Mr. Amaz and bring it behind my back so that I could get some phlegm on him.” The ward said that one of his colleagues was then pushed, and Amz kicked him. According to the report by the BBC, “I can’t really remember where it landed, but I know where my injuries were. I remember that I fell on the floor and everything turned black.”He said, “I was nervous to be honest. I was completely nervous. I had never experienced that level of violence towards me in my life,” he said. “I didn’t know who was going to come next to me. I was afraid to go again after this man and was being punched again on the face.”The ward said that people around him did not come to help, and “were doing films on their mobile phones”, “Nobody had come to help. I felt that everyone in that room was against us. To be honest, I was nervous, “he said. Bodycam footage presented in the court revealed that the ward was being rested by one of his colleagues. Advocate Rosemary Fernandes, who represented Amaz, suggested that his customer was “taken out” and “surprised”. He also insisted that Amaz had worked in “legitimate self -defense”. “It is important that you identify yourself as police officers, right?” He asked. The ward said that he did not have time for any “rational discussion” because the situation “quickly turned violent”. “He could see that I was a police officer and he could see that I was also a woman,” she said.Amaz was accused of assaulting PC Marsden and PC ward, resulting in real physical damage, and PC Cook and Abdulcarem Ismail from Starbucks of attacking. His brother was accused of attacking PC Marsden, resulting in real physical damage. Both men have denied the allegations while the test is underway.
