New Delhi: Technology is an important catalyst to improve health results, PM Narendra Modi said while addressing the 78th World Health Assembly held in Geneva on Tuesday. Highlighting India’s achievements in this regard, Modi said in a video message, “We have a digital platform to track the vaccination of pregnant women and children.Millions of people have a unique digital health identity. Modi said that this benefit, insurance, records and information are helping us to integrate. “He said that with telemedicine, no one is far from a doctor.”The PM recalled his address to the 2023 World Health Legislative Assembly, in which he spoke of ‘One Earth, One Health’ and said that the future of a healthy world depends on inclusion, an integrated vision and cooperation.Emphasizing that inclusion is at the core of India’s health reforms, he highlighted the world’s largest health insurance scheme Ayushman India, including 580 million people and provides free treatment. He said that the broad network of thousands of health and welfare centers in India allows diseases such as cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure and initial screening and detection.
