New Delhi: Uddhav Thackeray led the Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Thackeray -led Maharashtra Navneman Sena was prepared to contest civil elections simultaneously in at least four Maharashtra districts, Sanjay Raut said on Friday. He further stated that there was talk of forming an alliance with MNS.PTI said, “Thackeray Brothers (Army (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray) will compete and win the municipal elections simultaneously in Mumbai, Thane, Nashik and Kalyan-Domiwali.”He said, “The strength of Raj and Udhav Thackeray is the strength of the unity of the Marathi-goals. No power can no longer break the iron fist of ‘Marathi Manus’,” he said.However, Maharashtra Minister and BJP leader Girish Mahajan accused Sinana (UBT) of remembering the Marathi-speakers only during the election season, saying that the results of the last year showed that Marathi voters had supported the BJP on a large scale and were not abandoned by efforts to mislead them.In addition, state BJP MLA Praveen Derekar thought whether it was true or just Raut’s “estimate”.He said, “We have not seen so much help in Uddhav Thackeray, who had not remembered his cousin, MNS chief Raj Thackeray for the last 20 years.”
