New Delhi: Abhishek Nair has recently given relief from his duties as an assistant coach of the Indian cricket team by the BCCI, re -included Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL and has played a mentorship role with UP Warrier in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Interestingly, there were reports of his return to KKR before exiting the Indian team, officially confirmed.Nair, who praised KL Rahul for shaping his development as a white ball batsman, was part of Gautam Gambhir’s coaching setup during his tenure with Team India.

Talking about his return to KKR, Nair spoke about the bond shared with the franchise.“KKR is a family for me.
