New Delhi: The Indian Army is currently performing extensive capacity development at several major places across India, including Pokharan Field Firing Range, Babina Field Firing Range and Joshimath. Separate air defense demonstrations are scheduled in Agra and Gopalpur. These tests are being conducted under fake operating conditions, in which the performance of advanced defense systems with the integrated electronic war (EW) environment is strictly evaluated.Earlier this week, the head of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Babina Field Firing Range, where he reviewed the ongoing tests and remained with all stakeholders, including defense industry partners and army officials.Performance is part of the large roadmap of the Indian Army for the “decade of change” and its purpose is to rapidly track the absorption of emerging technologies, especially those who have been developed under the Amanmar Bharat Bharat initiative.
