IndiGo has used Turkish aircraft on these wet leases (hired with operating crew) to operate a daily directly between Delhi and Istanbul and Mumbai and Istanbul. In the past, the wide body aircraft made by AI IndiGo have been submerged on a long wet lease. On the issue of wet lease in Turkey, IndiGo CEO Peter Albers said on Friday: “We work under the scope of air service agreement between India and Turkey.
